I choose to do these 10 lines to show how Holden do not respect girls, only if he wants something. He will talk bad about a female in his head yet try to charm the girl into doing whatever he planned on doing with the girl. Then again I should be surprised that he feels this way about girls considering he is only like 17 or 16 years old. That should be normal for him since he is still "mentally immature" as told by one of the characters. Another reason why I think he act this way is because of his brother Allie's death. Not just him talking disrespectful about females but his whole attitude towards everything. Everything and everybody seems to depress him or be phony's. Holden is just one sad guy to be around.
