Cant get her off the brain;

She was a funny girl ol' Jane.

Not Strictly beautiul

The whole summer long we played tennis together

She was always reading books;

And she read a lot of poetry

My mom didn't like her much though;

She always thought Jane was sort of Snubbing

My mother didn't think Jane was pretty even

I did though, I liked the way she looked,

I chose these qoutes because it was the only sane and normal quality of the book. I find it cute that he thinks about her and he get jealous when he finds out Stradlater is out with Jane. He even shows how he thinks beauty is only skin deep. For example he says himself; he doesnt think Jane is the most beautiful or that attractive but he still likes her for who she is as a person. Holden Knows what she likes to do and tells how his mom doesnt think she is the best looking either. His mom actually doesnt like her that much. WIth this said he just doesnt care he still has a big crush on her, and there isnt anything that will stop him from liking her.
